Submissions for Volume 12 of the McGill Journal of Law and Health are now closed. We will begin accepting submissions for Volume 13 as of 1 May 2018. Please refer to the editorial submission guidelines, available below, before submitting your work. We look forward to working with you!
We welcome contributions on any aspect of health law, including but not limited to medical malpractice, regulation of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, constitutional rights related to health and health care, and ethical dimensions of health law and policy.
Articles are typically under 15000 words, not including footnotes. Case comments and works of a similar nature should be under 10000 words. All submissions are first internally reviewed prior to being evaluated through a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts must be accompanied by a 200-300 word abstract. Please check our Editorial Guidelines prior to submitting. All manuscripts or inquiries should be forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Online Blog
In addition to the peer-reviewed journal, the MJLH publishes short articles for our Online Blog. We accept article submissions from all law students, law professors and members of the academic community at large that work on issues related to health law.
Online articles are generally 1000 – 1300 words in length. We also accept two-part series articles that may sum to 1600 – 2000 words.
